I've had this model about 5 years, no smell. I use Cascade and don't do anything special to clean it.

The diverter valve seal wore out and water dripped one the floor after 3 years. The replacement dripped after a year. Third seal is still holding. I have a pan and leak sensor under it and recommend anyone buying a Whirlpool dishwasher do the same. Yes, KitchenAid, Maytag and several others are all Whirlpool and share common parts. Google Whirlpool or KitchenAid diverter valve for more info and class action lawsuit.

Other than the leaks, the machine cleans well and is very quiet. If and when it dies, my only upgrade would be to get vented fan drying.

I actually returned my Bosch for a KitchenAid. The Bosch was leaving residue on dishes for some reason. Had it replaced with another unit and same issue. KitchenAid has been doing great. Very quiet. Have to basically stand with my ear to it and you hear a very light and gentle sloshing sound

That is not the same model. The Costco model is the 44dBA model that is 999 at lowes. Also, lowes does not include install or haul away

Don't buy anything Samsung. Of the three Samsung appliances I have, all 3 have broke down. Refrigerator (ice maker) is garbage. Mine, my daughter's, 90% them break over and over. Dishwasher was fixed once under warranty, and I had to fix it again. There is a huge Facebook group dedicated to folks getting their money back on Samsung Refrigerators. You've been warned!!

It is pretty clear all over the product page that this qualifies for the $200 GC. Additionally, the extra $200 off is also a current promotion (I got in email for it two days ago). Not sure why people are second guessing this so much. All the promos and discount are clearly stated and accurate.

For those who have bought an appliance from Costco, does their haul away includes disconnecting and removing existing dishwasher? If the install guy when delivering this dishwasher says no to remove the existing dishwasher, can you decline to accept the order and get refund? Asking because there's no way I would want to attempt removal of existing dishwasher.

Haul away included for all appliances that are installed. Items with a second appointment for install will receive haul away during their installation. In the event an item does not include installation, the member must uninstall the old appliance prior to the delivery in order to receive haul away.

Can't install the new dishwasher without removing the old one...

Didn't include installation for me (in Kentucky). That's okay though... I'm replacing a contractor special that was put in when the house was built in 2007... So, all of the connections are there and installing a dishwasher isn't all that complex.

I've had this model for a year and a half, no sink. I clean the trap every few months.
