The diverter valve seal wore out and water dripped one the floor after 3 years. The replacement dripped after a year. Third seal is still holding. I have a pan and leak sensor under it and recommend anyone buying a Whirlpool dishwasher do the same. Yes, KitchenAid, Maytag and several others are all Whirlpool and share common parts. Google Whirlpool or KitchenAid diverter valve for more info and class action lawsuit.
Other than the leaks, the machine cleans well and is very quiet. If and when it dies, my only upgrade would be to get vented fan drying.

Follow-up: The installer called to ask for extra $120 to install the dishwasher. Talked to Costco and was transferred to the same logistics woman every time. The logistics woman was terrible and kept saying free installation is just basic installation and does not include anything about valve. Tried to return the dishwasher but the logistics woman said we must keep it for 7 days before it can be picked up. Finally had to agree to pay the installer extra $120 to get the dishwasher installed. Not very happy. Since when Costco customer service became so bad. The logistics woman was a shame, offered no help, and hung up on me.
Would NEVER buy another appliance from Costco anymore.
Should have escalated the call to her supervisor. Keep going up when talking to customer service with a valid issue. If the same woman won't escalate your call, go back to customer service and see who else they can put you in contact with and let them know the woman hangs up on you. I also would have talked with a real plumber first on what you need and a quote and not trust some random contracted Costco company.
You are right though. Costco has gone downhill in the past few years on many fronts.

Yes we all did for the most part. It's sent by email with a redemption code. Check your spam.
I am using Liquid and it seems to leave some soap on dishes.
Update: went to my local warehouse and they fixed it for me. Got a physical shop card instead.
Still not getting the shop card, installed in November. I even said I have screenshots but rep and supervisor still declined.
