Personally, I would do nothing and wait until the price drops again. But I have a lot of laptops available to me to use right now.

These gateway laptops are always on sale. But waiting 4 to 12 months to save $50 is slightly stupid imo

The better CPU and iris xe and 512 SSD is a huge improvement. $20 more was a no brainer. Even at $70 more, I'd still do it if you really need it right now.

In the grand scheme of things, the specs for both laptops trumps any other laptop you throw against it for the price. The pink laptop provides good value, but you might appreciate the hard drive storage upgrade to 512.

Hopefully I wasn't too confusing.

Also the one you posted is a lot faster 2.4 to 4.2 GHz 8m cache the other one is 1 GHz - 3.6 GHz 6m cache however now it's 367 but probably worth it

Thanks! Just hard to make these value judgements solo since I personally would go somewhere completely different with it but i needed a low budget buying it for the fam. We ended up getting super lucky and our local Walmart still had one of the good ones left for $250! Thanks so much for your input! It was worded perfectly, no worries!

Any idea how to properly manage the batteries on these? Unplug battery at 100% and run down to a certain level before charging? My knowledge base about usage is dated.

I was also apprehensive about whether the $329 laptop was really 4lbs per description on Walmart website. I went ahead and ordered anyway just to validate on my end. It weighs 3lbs 10.1 oz = 3.63lbs (See attachment photo)

For those complaining that the price went back up to $379, I still see it as $329 as of right now (1:03pm ET) on Walmart for all 4 colors...
