Just to note, Secondipity on its site offers a 90-day warranty, while their eBay store offers a 2-year warranty (part of the eBay Refurbished program). So something to keep in mind since upgrading to a 2-year warranty on Secondipity's site costs $36.

Secondipity's warranty is also ran by CPS while eBay's handled by Allstate.

While the $222 price on the XM5's is lower than listed previously, it also kinda isnt. They were taking offers the last time the deal came up and were accepting <$200 offers.

I've bought and returned a pair of headphones from them before with no hassle. With the 90-day return policy, I figure I can just get them to price match or return them if I find a better deal on Black Friday.

Just to clarify, their site has a 30-day return policy and a 90-day warranty. Just in case people ask. I agree it may not hurt to wait until Black Friday since it's that close, though I'm not expecting a huge difference considering they were only released this year. But eBay should have a decent coupon.

Good deal, I just sold one on Facebook market place for $150, and it has a few scratches so you can probably buy this and easily sell it for a bit of profit after a few months

also I sold mine because I decided to get the Anker soundcore q35, got it for $80 and according to reviews it's comparable to sony and beats

I bought the XM4 in July '21 for $200 but returned them. I have the OG MDR-1000X from 2016 that I paid $350 for. I really just couldn't tell much difference in sound quality. The fit was a little better (I have a small head), and usb-C charging was nice. But I couldn't justify the purchase.

I have the OGs too. For as much as I use them, they are probably fine. Great for flying.

I haven't bought any headphones from secondpity, only wireless earbuds. They looked like new. No issues unlike ones I purchased from Best Buy, which are supposed to be certified refurbished by Geek Squad. All the ones I bought from them look like they were direct from the person who returned them. Nasty.
