absolute nonsense, I've printed hundreds of parts on completely stock ender 3's as part of my business. Learn the technology, learn the machine, learn your limits, invest the time and don't think upgrades somehow make you better, they don't.

MicroCenter is still selling the older GD32F103 chips instead of the newer GD32F303 chips. If you're going to use a stock printer, this wont matter to you. If you're planning on certain mods and custom firmware, it will. I'm not sure if there's any way to tell except looking at the board itself.

Creality Ender 3 Glass Bed Upgraded 3D Printer Tempered Glass Plate Build Surface for Ender 3/Ender 3 Pro/Ender 3 V2/Ender 5/Ender 5 Pro/Ender 3 S1, 235x235x4mm

Stock bed warps so easily. But had better adhesion. Oh well. Glass adhesion can be tough but at least not warped.

2$ coupon was there months ago too. This is no deal just regular price (unless i randomly bought it for deal too). Amazons prime day pricing is almost worse than macys.

And for springs. I believe brand was comgrow. Just search on amazon. Yellow springs. Huuuge upgrade. Only need to level bed once in a great while versus every time with stock springs.

I got one on the last deal. Its an amazing printer but plan on getting at least 25$ or so in upgrades. Glass plate. Springs. Those are a must.

I bought one this summer using the new customer coupon. After a few weeks they email me a coupon for the creality glass bed for $7.99. I upgraded to the silicone springs. Supposed to be better than the yellow springs.

Every time I see this, one question comes up in my mind - why Creality can't bump up the price by $25 and make it right from the beginning, without those upgrade hassles?

I guess, this is sort of rhetorical question...

out of the box the ender 3 is completely fine, if you can't get it to print or be reliable it's the owner's lack of skill, not the machine's issue. The learning curve with 3D printing is steep and long if you want to get serious about it.
