Just FYI, TP-Link finally put out a statement on Matter integration. It seems to indicate that only future products will be designed for matter as opposed to updating these current items.

Why is this a slick deal? The few I checked have coupons for $5-8 off but they've just raised the prices by the same amounts.
I am remodeling my house and bought 20 kasa switches. Awsome deal. There are rebates on some of them if you buy with Amazon credit card also.

Nice deal, thanks! I have a few Kasa smart plugs for holiday decorations, but took this opportunity to finally jump into their dimmer switches as well.

I have a bunch of their smart plugs (inside and outside) with energy and have never had an issue. They seem like legit products.

I have about a dozen of the Kasa plugs in use at all times. All 6 garage lights, plus indoor lights and electronics. Never had an issue and they pair seamlessly with Alexa. I add 6 or 8 more during the holidays for outdoor and indoor decorations and let Alexa control them. Makes turning them off and on a breeze.

My kasa switches don't work as well as others. They would sometimes not work or work on a long delay after Alexa has already given up trying. The Amazon version switches, meanwhile, always work. I guess being too smart and having more features isn't always a good thing.

What are the differences between the mini and the ultra mini?

Edit: Found a thread on the TP-Link forums which covers the differences, HS103 is the mini and EP10 is the ultra mini: https://community.tp-link.com/en/...yId=603872

I only wish their plastic was the standard shade of white. The ubiquitous Lutron/Legrand brands and their standard face plates are all in "swiss coffee" shade of white. Kasa makes their swithces a more cooler pure white. Not sure why. These are all "US only" products. Why stray away from the standard? I'm sure they are loosing plenty of nitpicky customers.

I do use the face plates that come with the wall switches so it's less noticeable but some of my switches are installed in multi gang setups. Doesn't look the best.

Both are 2.4 ghz wifi only. Looks like the mini has the button the the right side, and the ultra mini is on the left (if it's oriented so that the outlet looks like a face)

The product page for the ultra mini has a picture that illustrates the size difference. Width x depth x height is 2.4 x 1.2 x 1.5 inches for the ultra mini vs 2.6 x 1.6 x 1.5 for the mini.

I have some minis that I like, but opted for the ultra minis this time.

I'm in for a 4-pack of the ultra's. I've had a good experience with the energy monitoring mini I got in July for 3.50 +tax, hard to beat that one.

Thanks, OP
