The big debate always is, do you want a laptop that you can carry around that can also game and do graphic work? Or do you actually need a gaming machine and a separate work laptop you can easily carry around.
I have an Acer Swift X which has similar specs but almost double the price. Big difference is the weight. Swift X is a beast of a machine considering its portability(3.31lbs) compared to the Dell G15(5.4lbs)
1) How are the speakers on this? My wife has the Intel version of this, and it's almost inaudible. My older Acer A5 is just fine, though.
2) Does it have a slot for a normal interface HDD? So you could do dual drive?

There is only 1 free slot so a single 8gb stick is required.
Bought this for my 10yo - basic enough for school and a few simple games (Minecraft, Roblox, etc..). Of course not powerful enough for AAA games.
Just added a stick of 8GB RAM to this and the performance improved dramatically. Passmark doubled, passmark memory improved by 75%.
Took a screwdriver, guitar pick and about 10min.
