I had an 8t and bought my wife had the 9. While I think the 9 is nice it is not worth upgrading between the 2. 9 has a plastic back, the camera is just as meh and the processor is not really much of an improvement over the 8t.

I feel like out of the box the OP9 is better with the charger in the box, super fast charging and a brighter display. But the 6 I'm sure has a better camera, and is the phone that you will probably still enjoy in 3 years or so, due to better support.

So the XR is $179, and can trade in $435, basically is $250 off for the pixel 7.
The oneplus is still cheaper.
