I missed the trade in deal, so is this an acceptable substitute? I've got a 3a now.

I'd save your money unless there is a feature in the new phone absent from your 3a. I had a 3a XL that I traded in for a 6a and I regret it. I ended up turning off 5G because my cell reception for calls was miserable. All the other upgrades I got with this new phone like battery life, screen size, storage size, processor speed, etc. don't feel like they were worth the cost of the new device, a new case, and the little aggravation migrating to a new phone.

If I could do it over again I would have waited for the pixel 7. There was nothing wrong with my 3a XL.

My concern is more with the fact that support has ended for the 3a, although I love the phone.

It was $299 at Best Buy a couple months ago so nothing too special here unless I'm missing something

If photography is important for you then get the 6A. I traded in my 4A for a 6A and love the 6A.

I have a 6a. Replaced a 4a because it went for a swim. Is it better? Yes. Is it loads better? No.

I lost the back fingerprint reader which is awesome, fight me. I also lost the headphone jack which is just so convenient.

What I gained was an upgrade in screen quality and camera capabilities - and the newer Tensor chip is solid.

The latest Android update fixed issues I was having with the modem and anything around the battery getting warm.

If this hits $300 again it's definitely worth it for a nice straightforward no bloatware phone.

Not as good as past Google store trade in offer (~$250). But Amazon is hassle free compared to trade in.

The GG3 glass cracks easily so invest in a good case for it.

Is that a wish or does that actual deal exist? if it exits, do you have a link?
