Yes I'm well aware of that.
Wasn't talking about that deal at all.

Not a bad unit but Price is still a little bit too high for the parts it has.

You're look at it from a gaming perspective, then it's not great of a deal. However, if you concern more about the CPU, then this is a great laptop, and that'd of course if you put gaming behind productivity.

I would find out what wireless card these ship with. The Mediatek ones in many Lenovos are incredibly bad, slow and inconsistent speeds. It's basically a requirement to swap it out if you're doing anything other than normal web browsing.

We're talking regular dips to 1-4mbps, high latency, and high ends of 60-70mbps.

I got a similar computer to this for $580 after tax: https://www.lenovo.com/us/en/p/la...82s9003bus

I used the I.D.me for 5% back (I'm a teacher). Then I had the Amex deal for $100 off $500 at Lenovo. Lastly I got 10% CB from a popular CB site. Since I bought it, the price went down $20 so I'm going to have Lenovo price match it and get my total out of pocket down to $560. It is upgradeable with an empty slot for a pcie3 SSD. Also, the RAM can be upgraded.

The reason I like not having a super powerful graphics card is that it can get the job done without producing so much heat and having fans on all the time. In my opinion, this is a sweet spot gaming/general purpose laptop if you are a casual gamer and can perform the upgrades.

250 nits is a dim screen. IDK why such panels even exist in 2022.
