I still have duct tapes from 10 years ago, they are all fine. I think they will be fine as long as they are in shrink wrap.

Also keep them in a cool environment. Mine are fine from 2-3yrs ago when they were going on sale via S&S. Have had no issues besides the one I left out for a week.

Another option is a 55 yard roll of gray. Cheaper per yard.

Like other people stated, I usually skip the low end ones and use Gorilla or 3M multiuse [amazon.com]. More expensive but much better value overall in my opinion.

I agree, 9 out of 10 people I've used this on have gotten away. Since switching to Gorilla, they're all staying tied up.

Can confirm. With Duck Tape I can hear screams from my basement. After applying Gorilla, nothing but silence.
