BE AWARE, Adorama website says they are on Sukkot holiday and orders won't ship until after it on 10/19. Shipping is another 7 business days. So these apparently won't arrive until about October 27 to Oct 29

Ordered 2 sets. One for myself and my son.
He is a music fanatic and attends about 70 to a 100 concerts a year. Reviews on other sites say they are pretty decent. At this price, a steal.

https://majorhifi.com/westone-b30-review/
"Perfect for the beginner audiophile, casual listener, or relaxed professional, the B30 delivers an impressive listening experience, comfortable fit, and a wealth of accessories – including a Bluetooth cable. While the sound may not be everyone's cup of tea – and the sometimes-cramped soundstage may not do justice to more intricate tracks – this earphone still holds its own against anything at this price point."

https://twister6.com/2019/06/06/w...0-and-b50/
"I would say B30 is suited better for musicians who want more emphasis on low end while still enjoying the clarity of mids/vocals and treble. B50 is probably more consumer oriented because it's tuned for those who are craving L-shaped sound signature and more emphasis on warm analog bass."

https://www.headfonia.com/westone...-review/2/
"The B30 is the more balanced model of the two, which sounds quite mellow and it's pleasing to listen to. The IEM gives a very soft presentation and good amount of bass to be a good all-rounder. The approach is smoothness from start to finish. It goes well with many genres but I found it to be especially good with RnB, Rock and Pop Music.

The bass quantity is pretty much on point, and it doesn't interfere with other frequencies. The control in the bass department is particularly impressive, and the texture is very good. I found bass to be detailed and resolving. The midbass is also very good in quantity. Its quality and texture are also good and somewhat soft as well. However, I would prefer bass to be slightly less in quantity, especially in the midbass area."
I've seen a lot of stupid comments on Slickdeals, but this one takes the cake

Never heard of Westone Audio. Are these better than Anker earbuds? Reviews on Amazon for other models are poor and price seems very suspicious.
Don't bite on this, folks. This has got to be trolling. No other possible explanation aside from complete ignorance to headphones and an inability to use Google.

Thanks for your input and suggestion. I've heard good things about Linsoul, but never have tried them. Personally, I like a good amount of bass and mids. Not a ton, but definitely a good and thumping amount. Plus, a wide soundstage is a must. My last set of IEM's were RHA T-20's, which I really liked. Can you comment on how the Linsoul's sound in this regard? Also, stupid question, but can the Linsoul's you linked be connected to a wireless Bluetooth adapter like the Westone (I know there will be a loss in fidelity)? If so, would you be kind enough to link to some similar BT adapters that you know to be good quality? Thanks so much!
I have no experience with Linsoul, but KZ is another brand you might be interested in. They have a pretty decent reputation and offer a good value. I have the ZSN Pro, which should be around the same price range as those Linsouls. Good sound, pretty balanced, fit well. I use their ZS10 Pro now sometimes, which are a little more and are pretty darned good, IMHO. KZ does sell bluetooth adaptors as well. They come out with new ones all the time, including some even more advanced IEMs and true wireless, if that's your thing. Just puting another possibility out there.

That is because the link carries a code for the better price. This deal was likely emailed to someone specific.

Wonder if anyone has a link for a great deal on the b50's???? 😙

They have a long history in the headphone world: https://www.westone.com/store/mus...ut-westone

They have a long history in custom monitor world. Consumer headphones for them are relatively new, mostly since their acquisition by Lucid.

Been in the audio industry 20 years and never heard of them, that's why. They are also related to Ultimate Ears, a low-mid consumer speaker, you probably have heard of the UE Boom.

Just some updated info, $99 is probably a fair price for these monitors

If all you know of Ultimate Ears is their Boom product, you can't really have been in the audio industry for 20 years... UE is one of the leading manufacturers for custom IEMs.

These are not a good choice for the money at this point. Since these have been released there have been regular breakthroughs in IEM technology as well as in production methodology lowering costs. I have never heard this set but I would be surprised if they are better than either of these, just for example;

https://www.linsoul.com/products/...1260866777

https://www.linsoul.com/products/...9722561753

They are not wireless but they are incredible for $20 as you'll read in reviews.
I don't think any $20 headphones are going to compare to these. Westone makes great IEM's.

While the B30s aren't on Crinacle's list the W30s they are an update of are and he gives them a C-

https://crinacle.com/rankings/iems/

The Moondrop Chus I linked he gives a B, for example, but you can easily find reviews of these beyond Crinacle.

Coincidentally the best choice around $50 at the moment are generally considered to be the Truthear X Crinacle Zeros, which he did the tuning on;

How do these compare with the Shure SE215?
Shure SE215 have one driver, these have 3. To be honest, i have the Shure SE425 which is more than double the price of the SE215, and i snatched these Westone immediately .If they are a quality 3 driver iem it's a steal at this price.

Linsoul is not a manufacturer, but a store that stocks the latest and greatest IEMs out of China. The Truthear X Crinacle Zeros I mentioned above would be a good choice from what you've said.

For a Bluetooth adapter it depends on if you want a neckband or not and what kind of connectors the specific IEMs you end up with use. In general you want to make sure it supports Apt-X adaptive.

You can find IEMs with 7 or 8 drivers for much less and IEMs with just one for thousands. It's not something to be making decisions based on.

The amount of Chinese-fi products shilled in the hifi space is sad. KZ was recently found to have lied about the actual active drivers in their IEMs.

Yes, so that means all Chinese IEMs are a lie? Why wouldn't people direct others to the best headphones for the money on this site? What are you complaining about exactly?

Should people here spend 5x more for worse sound quality because you hate China or something despite that the majority of electronic devices are manufactured there?
