I got this one a month ago when it was this price and have been happy with it. I know there will be even better deals soon, but my old rig died and this was the best deal at the time. I swapped out the HDD for a bigger storage drive and added a secondary SSD for games. Still getting used to Win 11, but otherwise I've always had good luck with Lenovo hardware.

An integrated 3060? The photos have to be stock images of the case they use throughout this product line

That's what I thought about them using stock photos. I believe it should be gpu card taking up a slot.

They had the MSI GL76 laptop on sale for $1300 with the i7 12700H and RTX 3070.

Would this tower, and adding peripherals, be a better package than the laptop?

It doesn't have the 1T hard drive. But you can buy and install an 8T Toshiba for ~140 now. It's still available this morning from Amazon.

Slightly odd CPU + GPU pairing but maybe the extra cores and VRAM makes it better for productivity tasks? But if that's the case, 32 GB of RAM would've been much preferred.

I know the BB deal is $100 cheaper and really the only difference is the 1TB spinner, but don't forget you get Costco's extended warranty (and then the Citi Extended Warranty if you purchase it with that).

I'm not sure if that's worth $100, though...
