just got the iphone XR from tracfone deal for 99 + $15 per month plan. It showing warranty till Feb-16-23.

Also when I text UNLOCK to 611611 . it says your phone will be automatically unlock on 12-12-2022

Depend on what you are trying to do, trade in or get it unlock?

Remember Verizon bought over Tracfone family including straight talk and Totalwireless. So iPhones purchased get unlocked after activation for minimum one month and waiting 60 days. Sometimes you need to call Tracfone unlocking service to get it unlock.

The iPhone XR received include an instruction to activate either through Straight Talk or Total Wireless… thus my extra explanation above.

with a $35 plan plus taxes, this is not a deal compared to a new XR that is on sale for around $170. more importantly, be prepared to wait 4+ months and fight battles and charge backs if they cancel your order. I still didn't get my money from 4 months ago for iphone 11 cancellations, a total of over $400....lot of money to be hold hostage. I suspect tracfone companies pays people to get postings here....

not as great as the tracphone deal from a few days ago because you could get a $15 plan with that, but still a good deal for trade in

I guess I was lucky. But I ordered only one iPhone 11 through total wireless and got it unlock. This time I bought two iPhone XR and it was shipped within two days from a contractor in TX. Not sure how long this will last.

Because, ST, TF and TW are all in the same group in terms of vendors, I think you may get limited to 6 total phones across the 3 vendors if you buy this just fyi. It's a crazy rule but they enforce it.
