Trade-in to best buy for $400 towards a pixel 7 most likely. Or for other carriers like TMobile giving $800 towards iPhone 14.
which deal is that? I am assuming TMobile is via monthly bill credits?

For my iPhone 11, I activated only one month and it was unlocked after 65 days.
I bought an iphone 11 from total wireless and activated it; everything was OK, but after they changed it to TotalVerizon the hell got loose. I tried to activate an Iphone 11 for my friend; they deactivate my phone and then reactivate it with my friend's $25 and still did not activate my friend's phone. I did contact them they did not solve it yet.

Straight Talk is not one of the options on the Best Buy Pixel 7 Pro trade in. Only verizon, sprint or AT&T. Anyone know if this Iphone XR will be able to be trade in?
Just got a TracFone iphone XR and straight talk iphone 11 in the mail today. Both iPhone model numbers are unique to TracFone and straight talk and not listed as the same as Verizon or unlocked for a pixel 7 trade in from Best Buy. I have several pixel 7s preordered. One for pick up tomorrow. Trade in at store seems less risky than mailing it in.

Trading in a MVNO locked phone to Best Buy? Hope it works out.

You can buy an unlocked one for $200 off of eBay.

And TMO isn't that great a deal anymore. They lock you into a 2 year contract to get a new phone on their overpriced Magenta Max plan.

Just got my phone today. Still has Apple warranty until May 2023, phone is like new, no scratch or dent. The sim card comes with phone is Verizon network so I will qualify to unlock after 60 days.

From my understanding ALL Verizon MVNOs are 60 days.
I think I was confused with the simple mobile deal from this thread where people got T-Mobile simmed phones.

For anyone who is purchasing this to trade-in at Best Buy, I have a couple of posts that will help from last year's iPhone 13 launch and trade-in deal.

General process
Quote from ouloat :
No, it was straight and to the point.

1) What is your Best Buy phone number?
2) What is your email?
3) Driver license please
4) Copy IMEI from the iphone trade-in
5) Scan 5 different codes on the iphone 13
6) Print out trade-in receipt showing trade-in (without the $200 tmobile upgrade bonus)
7) Hand over new iphone

Repeat for other trade ins (BB systems doesn't save the info between trade-ins, so agent has to redo from step 1). Out in 10 mins.
Trade-in tips
Quote from ouloat :
Tips for the first timers, keep your trade-in simple and ordinary to avoid questions and minimize time needed.

1) Trade-in a phone that looks used. Take your trade-in out of the box. Remove factory plastic wrap. Jingle it in your pockets to get some dirt and lint on it. Get some fingerprints and oil on it. You don't have to actually use or activate the phone, just make it look used. Trading in a perfect, spotless phone invites questions because it is out of the ordinary.
2) Trade-in the phone only. Remove the box, accessories, and case / screen protector. BB doesn't want them.
3) Factory reset the trade-in phone at home. Per the terms that you agreed to when you signed up for the trade-in, you must sign out of all your accounts (apple, google, etc.) and factory reset the phone. Do this at home to minimize the time at BB. Your trade-in should be at the "hello" screen when you hand it over to the BB agent.
4) Remove the sim card from the trade-in at home. You don't want to accidentally give away your sim card (some agents don't check). Also, you don't want to raise suspicion if the agent does check and finds a tracfone sim card on a "verizon" phone. Remove your sim card at home.
5) Charge your trade-in. Your trade-in just needs to be charged enough for the BB agent to get the necessary information off of it. Don't bring a dead phone and expect them to charge it.

Doing this keeps your trade-in time to under 5 mins at BB.
Quote from ouloat :
Successfully traded in 1 Total Wireless iPhone XR. Agent thoroughly examined the exterior condition of the phone, entered the imei and other information, and processed the trade-in. None of infamous "memo" or incompatible model shenanigans.

If you are going to do the same, put whatever carrier you want to declare it as. Just don't put it as unlocked.

I'm going to keep my other TW iPhone XR since it was brand new, factory stickers, and unactivated warranty.
Quote from ouloat :
iPhone IMEIs are on the hello screen. Agents know how to get it.
Android phones have to go through the setup process to get the IMEIs, but this is normal and expected by the agents.

Either case, sign out of all your accounts and factory reset your trade-in phone at home.

If you are planning to trade this in, easiest thing to do is turn phone on to make sure phone turns on, then turn it off and that's it. Nothing else you need to do.

Are these confirmed to be eligible for Pixel 7 trade in at BB? Aren't model numbers different between these and Verizon models?

The iPhone 11 from Total Wireless for $99 was a debacle, nearly all orders cancelled and they didn't automatically refund for a lot of people. It shouldn't be compared.
