I have these and this is a steal. My only complaint is I wish I'd bought them sooner.

Thanks OP! Perfect timing for closing on our house next week. Snagged electric version. Hope Costco doesnt mind me cancelling the other set I'd ordered weeks back.

Bought these almost 4 years and paid more than twice this price. They have performed really well with no issues or complaints. Installed myself with no complications. These are used frequently with 3 birds returning to the nest weekly to avoid laundromats in addition to the 3-5 loads per week for us. The pedestals adds storage and saves you from having to bend really low but the some will not be able to justify the extra cost. I can and appreciate the utility they add.
Washer and dryer presets are smart and they work well but I like to select timed drying (old school) on a low heat setting to avoid damage or shrinking.
Not sure if these are wifi but that function is good to push a notification to my phone that the washer or dryer is finished.
Really easy to clean performing a tub wash monthly and draining that little hose into a basin. Google make at home solutions if you don't wish to purchase premade washer cleaners.
Leave that washer door open to dry out to avoid musty smells! I did this for 30 years even with top loaders. It's not up for debate, its just how science works, folks.
Solid deal OP.

edit: wanted to add, my units cannot be remotely controlled via app but not being able to view status and be alerted when load is complete is well worth setting up the app, in my opinion. Especially for those living on multi-floor homes.

In the pictures, it looks like they already come on pedestals. Are you all talking about pedestals under those, or are the pictures misleading me?

EDIT: Nevermind, I was looking at the LG website. They were showing a smaller washer under the actual washer. I assume this combo would not have that.

What is the difference between this set and the 2 other LG set at $2600 and signature at $3300. Looks like the other 2 are slightly bigger washer at 5.8cu

Looking to replace a set LG from 2006 that still working. Dryer now takes 2 cycles to dry otherwise works still.
FYI there is a comparison option on costco.com but it doesn't provide much. I believe this set will be comparable to the signature series, 9xxx series.

here is another comparison. not many differences.

Would also recommend checking for rebates. Go to bestbuy.com and search for this model.

Type in your zip/location.

Upon doing so, towards the top and directly below below the price and the 15 day guarantee, there will be a link for any rebates in the area IF there are any. Got another $150 rebate for the washer from the water utility!

Another $25 for the electric dryer from the electric company.

Thanks for the feedback I was comparing the 9000 to the 8900 since they are closer in price. The 8900 being $700 more. They also both appear to be the same size 5.2cu. Only thing I could find was 8900 had smart IQ sensing Ai. The 9500 set is $3300 vs $1600. I would think there would be some feature other than size 5.2cu vs 5.8 that would justify the cost.
I might pull the trigger on the $1600 electric set. Hope it works as well and as long as my 2006 LG set.

EDIT: Pulled the trigger. Wonder if its worth hunting down the pedestal and may buy the extended Allstate warranty to be safe after receiving them. Looks Like it can be added up to 90 days after purchase.

This is YMMV based on local electric and gas rebates. I got nothing for my zipcode.

Anyone that was able to buy the electric set that wants to do a trade for the (85" VIZIO Class P-Series 4K HDR Quantum X Smart TV) (P85QX-J01) that was posted about a month ago that only a few people got? I have it still in the box new. I'll even do trade plus a some cash. I already paid for the Allstate 5-Year TV Protection Plan when I bought it. so that would be included.

I'm in GA but willing to drive out of state with-in means to make the deal.

Its OOS when I try and check out, this is why I'm offering a trade. My good deal for yours for yours plus Ill throw in some cash.
