Might be better to go with a airline or "fancier" card tho to monetize credit rewards eg Aadvantage will give you in the $500-1000 range depending on point redemption, and you can churn 5 of these cards over 24mo = say 750 * 5 = $3750 rewards.
i want to see exactly what they mean by ground transportation and home utilities. i'm hoping ground transportation covers tolls and trains
i might get rid of my citi custom if the cash+ can do another category
Google "cash + merchants" it'll be the first link and it'll give you lists of example merchants in categories

It's a good card, it can be a background kind of card where it just handles ur utilities, etc, or you can change things around if you know you want to buy furniture soon or buy Black Friday deals. It's got lots of good categories.

Walmart and Target have groceries derp
Also note - the 6% cash back and 3% cash back is limited to the first $1500 spent in each category during the quarter (3 month period).
also number two, if you do not sign up for two retailers and one category each quarter, you will only earn 1.5% on all spending.
Ahhh, still better than most any other card.
If you look up data points on myficoforums, I think it gets harder after 1/6 or 2/12, but those DPs might be outdated. And YMMV. I haven't done that research in a long time, so take what I'm saying with a large grain of salt

Plus you can buy gift cards at Walmart or target in-store for other places. Like apple or amazon. to hit the 1500 for the quarter.
Kroger/blue cash can be better for this though. I already get 6% off homedepot/Amazon etc by just buying gift cards plus get fuel points so a dollar off per gallon. Then use a gas rewards card on top.
Correct, 1st year waived and then $95
