Where can I lookup how Gigabyte GPUs compare to others? Like I've read XFX and Sapphire are top tier. Where does Gigabyte fall and why?
Everything other than Powercolor, XFX and Sapphire are a lottery due to their bad QC and cooling. Don't risk it. MSI, Gigabyte, Zotac, etc. I would say Asus is mid-tier for GPUs. Hit or miss.

Asus, mid tier? For AMD or Nvidia? As far as Nvidia goes, the Asus Strix model is the highest tier GPU there is of any AIBs. For AMD, Sapphire is probably the Strix version of AMD gpus.

Asus is quite good, so is MSI. Zotac is probably the worst out of all of them, but even powercolor has issues on their lower tier fighter cards. I just posted a red devil version of this card thats also on amazons current deals. $599, lowest ever for a red devil.
This. I missed the last zipfest deal I should have jumped on where I could have gotten a card for $530 shipped with tax... that's my target price range... so pretty much the card is around 5-10% too high yet for me to nibble. I admit though I'm not a big fan of Gigabyte... they're probably my least favorite brand.
Sigh, missed the $640 for the 6900XT and now waiting a few weeks. For $100 more, one gains 24% more effective speed, 19% average score more, 12% OC score more, etc. https://gpu.userbenchmark.com/Com...4091vs4089 Worth the $100?

I think your happiness is worth the $100! You could be gaming right now enjoying it. so unless your strapped for cash I say go for it.
