Costco version comes with ddr5 ram with no dedicated gpu.
Bestbuy version comes with ddr4 ram with dedicated gpu.
Personally, I would go with faster ram.

Good luck buying it if it's such a good deal for you. SD didn't need to come with the deal rating system I guess 🤷🏻
That wasn't the discussion, was it? Your argument was that there are plenty of better deals and I asked for some examples which you could not provide. Instead you got buthurt and started trying posting really gibberish comments.
I am posting deals for sometimes now and have a pretty good idea about deal quality and SD votes does not always implies whether it is a good of bad deal. But anyway, I will still be waiting for you to share some of those better deals.
This laptop seems like a good portable for photo editors and work use. Unlike the other line from LG it seems like it comes with upgradeable memory and 2 slots of nvme but only one is PCIE4.0. Does have USB 4.0 that I think should be thunderbolt 4 according some reviews. Just wish there was some spec on the refresh rate then it could be a good gaming PC with an eGPU. less than 5lbs for a QHD+ 17 inch screen and 99% DCI-P3 sounds good for photo editors and the 16:10 aspect ratio is good for productivity but the refresh rate would be what I would want to know. Price seems pretty good for specs. Tempted to pick one up just to see the screen refresh rate as it could be useful for my use case where I already have an eGPU.

When you use eGPU, do you use Laptop display or an external monitor because the norm is to use an external monitor as sending back the signal from eGPU back to the laptop display, creates significant Latency and reduces the Frame rates. You can check some reviews from Jarrod Tech where he compared various eGPU and discussed this topic in details.
I too wish, this to have an 120Hz display but that is not a deal breaker for Productivity work.
Apart from that, all the points you have mentioned are valid. 4.3 lbs 17" laptop with 16:10 aspect ratio, upgradable Ram, USB4 port and even a freaking RJ-45 Lan Port. Only comparable laptop at the size and weight class is XPS 17 which costs way way more than this at similar configuration.

What is up with LG and off centered trackpads on larger screen laptops? They should be positioned right under the spacebar.
