Not the greatest laptop maker. I will say 17 inch gram is one of kind but there is no reason to give higher price for other lg laptops.

I have the 16 inch Gram from the Costco deal and love the thing, super light, built well, good screen and haven't had any issues so far! Definitely not a mainstream brand but the LG Gram series is great if you are looking for something ultra light not too many ultrabooks out there which are better or cheaper!

I agree and have same experience, bought from same deal. But I am not a heavy user.

The 17" LG Gram will be on sale at Costco for black friday with similar specs and about the same price as the LG UltraPC.

LG Gram 17 at Costco:This is the lightest 17" laptop, and the display is outstanding.

good laptop totally different usage
the LG gram is supposed to be a NON-gaming ultra light weight

this one in the post is somewhat a gaming machine with the 3050 graphic card

Having a decent graphics card, whether dedicated or integrated, is good for things like MS Office. For example, Excel will use the GPU for it's calculations instead of the CPU. Can be a big productivity boost. Gaming on a laptop is reddit tier, though.

Does the off centered trackpad bother you?

I think it would drive me nuts with my palm hitting it since it isn't positioned under the space bar.

Anyway to disable it and use external mouse?

Don't think the 16" has the trackpad issue. Or it isn't nearly as bad as the 17" model. The 17" is terrible. If you're looking for a 16", don't forget the new Acer Swift 16" w/OLED. It's even lighter than the Gram 16". https://www.costco.com/acer-swift...56371.html

Yes, you can disable the trackpad through Windows settings or using a keyboard function key shortcut. That's what I do. I'd rather use a bluetooth or wired mouse instead, since the offset trackpad does bother me. Otherwise, I really like the 17" Gram.

Not really most laptops with a numpad usually has a off center trackpad and I dont have any issues. I do work a lot in excel and I like having a dedicated number pad just for my numbers in excel.
