VA = better black levels (contrast ratio), cheaper
IPS = better color accuracy and response times

VA can be ideal for things like movies or darker backgrounds while IPS is generally better for all around and gaming due to faster response times. TN panels actually have the best response times for LCDs and why lots of high end gaming monitors are still TN. OLED gets you the best of all worlds at the expense of price and possible burn in.

Any thoughts on how it compares to the 35WN65C at Costco for $350? The Costco seems to have slower refresh at 100hz, but an inch more real estate, adjustable stand , speakers and usb 3.0.

Costco return policy is great on monitors, how is Amazon on dealing with monitor returns?

Maybe he's comparing it to OLED, which is in a wholly different class of monitors that cost 4x more.

The Costco one is also height adjustable. I don't see that on the Amazon one, but I could be missing it
