NJ Transit is offering 40% Off Non-Holiday Weekday Round Trip Tickets to New York City when you follow the instructions below.
  • Note: Not valid for travel to/from Newark Liberty International Airport Station, SEPTA or Metro North Stations.

Deal Instructions:
  1. Get started by downloading the NJ TRANSIT Mobile App
  2. Set up your ticket account
  3. Select 4 One-Way tickets and tap "Proceed to Checkout"
  4. Enter the promotional code FALLNYCPASS
  5. Your tickets will appear in the "My Tickets" section of the App
  6. Activate your ticket before boarding the train or bus

    • The code may only be used once for round-trip travel for 2 on NJ TRANSIT trains to Penn Station New York
    • Tickets can only be activated on weekdays. Not valid on weekends or holidays. 
    • Once activated, all tickets must be activated on the same day

Pretty easy for app determine day of week for a given date. Whatever NJT app developers actually did that or not is anybody's guess.

For those who did the last njt promo, is there a way to tell the difference between the tickets? I'll probably do both promos at once, but I'm not sure how I'll know which ones to only activate during the weekdays.

No way to tell the difference. I used the BOGO promo ticket last Tuesday and the one from the promo in this thread today. Just keep in mind these tickets expire 11/19
