I'm torn on this as the S22 Ultra is better here to trade than Best Buy m, but Google trade in is a nightmare and very anxiety ridden. Your usps tracking will never say delivered and it's random when they will receive it. Lots of horror stories

That's always the case when dealing with trade in, you will probably face the same dilema when S23U comes out from samsung. I'll say if you want to change to a new phone, go for it else wait for your next year.
I just got my trade in credit ($485) for the 6A from Google, took some videos, pictures of the phone and pray for the best.

Because it is shipped ground only because of the battery it does take a long time to ship. I love the Pixel but the S22 is still a better phone on hardware and is feature rich. There are a handful of software perks with Google being able to answer your phone calls, it does help with spam. Being able to voice transcribe is a great feature as well. Yet battery life is a wild card and on the 6 the updates caused bugs.

Pixel 6 = $490. So I paid "$110" to use it for a year, hmm, tempting indeed, to get a Pixel 7. keep a fresher phone w/ higher TIV next year if needed.

There's a couple iPhone 11 deals floating around, where you can get the phone for under $200 total. It'll be locked to some MVNO, but that's not an issue for a trade-in. Easy way to knock ~$300 off the price of the Pixel.

I am not sure I would trade a s22 ultra for a Pixel 7 Pro.

While the pixel probably has a better camera in most other other areas the s22 ultrais better. A slightly smaller display in Pixel does not translate into a smaller phone. Also considering the track record of bugs in Pixel 6 lineup not sure what one gains by this trade.

I just went for it. I had 10% from the pixel 6a which applied against it then got back another 10%. Good deal!

$480 for Pixel 6 Pro 128 GB. I do not think it make sense to pay $420 for upgrade to Pixel 7 Pro 128 MB.
