Planning to get Google One (2TB) plan (+free NEST hub) which will give 10% store credit .
Use the store credit to get Pixel 7 , with trade in of iphone XR.

SD folks , does the plan look good ? Anyway to sweeten it further.?

P.S: Finally, decided to bite the bullet and get Google One subscription ,as I have crossed my data limit and Google asking me to clean up again (3rd time). Also i seem to like Google photos now.

Subscribing to the Google One storage membership would give you %age back for Google Store purchases. The lower tier membership for $3/month fices you 3% back. The next tier is $10/month and you get 10% back. You MAY have to have the membership active for 2 months to get the credit (because it may not come in one month).

Ordered a Pixel 7 258GB Lemongrass to replace the Pix6. Loved my Pix3XL but HATE HATE the 6, nothing but BUGS! Hopefully the 7 will restore my faith in Google phones!

Here's a breakdown of the deal...

Phone + Tax = $731.94
Google 1 credit = $69.90

Preorder TIV - Pixel 6 128gb = $440
10/13 promo TIV - Pixel 6 128gb = $490

Preorder store credit = $100
10/13 promo credit= $0

Preorder cost = $291.94
10/13 promo cost = $241.94

Effective difference is $50 store credit for the pre-order.

Since I'm planning to get either the Pixel Watch or new Buds, the pre-order was a better deal for me since I can combine it with the Google 1 credit.

Buds Pro + tax = $209.42
Google 1 credit = $20.00

Pix7 credits = $169.90

Pix 7 + Buds Pro = $331.46

Plus $20 store credit for future purchase...

Agreed. This is a stupid deal for P6P owners. Google is basically telling us not to upgrade at $480 value.
