590 for s21 ultra seems low. However 900 for s22 ultra. This doesn't make sense.

just went to pick up my order, beware that some BB associates aren't familiar w/ the refund trade in situation when I was trying to confirm my trade in as their screen only prompted the initial trade in value (w/o promotion credit). The rep told me it'd get refunded via my carrier which doesn't seem right so I pressed for a confirmation. Turns out in the later step it will show your promo credit so make sure you guys double check that.

I asked your exact question to support and got the answer.

total bill for the phone < trade in, you get difference as cash

(yes, if the phone costs $0 because you got massive Google store credits, you can get hundreds of $ on your CC after trade-in)

If you return the 7, trade-in becomes credit.

Best Buy says my phone is only worth $700. So going for the Pro was the only option. And like I said initially, I'm looking to downside

Hopefully Google is NOT using same trade in place for this promo as Pixel 6a because if they are then expect another huge thread on issues people experience with trade in being stuck status after delivery (majority should be ok I think).
