Agreed. This is a stupid deal for P6P owners. Google is basically telling us not to upgrade at $480 value.
I mean, the phone IS only a year old... and you're already in their ecosystem.

The trade ins on the regular pixel 6 are much better than the pro by comparison though, which is a bit insulting. Lesson learned for next time I guess, buy the cheaper model.

Yes, but you need to checkout each time.

IE, buy one phone and complete the transaction. Then buy another.

Still waiting on them to acknowledge my trade in for the 6a deal. Tracking shows as been delivered since 30 September…. Their system shows they haven't received it yet. Just sharing my experience

For an s22 ultra 512 gb the trade went from $720 to 950 without a 200 gift card, so that's better in my eyes. No gift cards to deal with.

Typing from my 7 pro right now. Traded in my pixel 5 at vzw because their offer was good. Phone is fine....fast, good display. Maybe im just not a power user but these phones are all very similar from gen to gen, even 2 back. I did buy mostly for the new cameras and in that regard I'm super satisfied but haven't really tinkered much. The zoom is wildly impressive.

I'm still amazed that Google is giving me $247 for a broken Pixel 3 128GB
How about a pixel 4 locked?

Can someone provide details who owned s22 ultra? Is it really better in terms of battery life, camera? One huge annoyance on S22 ultra (and perhaps not just that model) if you're in a team's call on the phone using a Bluetooth headset, and someone calls you, and you answer, you can't go back to teams call without disabling and re-enabling audio. It works fine if you don't use Bluetooth. Major Pita if you're working from home like many of us do today. Also swyping on S22 ultra seems extremely inaccurate compared to s10, s21...

S22u charges a lot faster too with 45watt vs only 30 on pixel 7.. It got better screen that goes down to 1hz vs 10 on pixel, s pen, and is brighter with 1750 nits vs 1500 on pixel. So honestly nothing shows 7 to be an upgrade over S22u. S22u is not light, but 7 pro is even heavier?? All phones seem to go that route, iPhone 14 Max is heavy AF...Yet, I want to switch Smilie Many thanks.

Camera on S22 ultra still beats iPhone 7 pro and iPhone 14 according to this unbiased review:

So is it really an upgrade or just switching from Korean cult company to Google? Which I don't mind, but again, it's it a lateral move or truly an upgrade?

450 for S22+ 512GB isn't half bad
That can't be right? The 128gb was $600 yesterday, and I'm pretty sure the 256gb was $650. That's what I got.

Same here. P6P to S22 Ultra. Main reason was battery life. Just traded in the Ultra for the P7P. Going to give Pixel another try. The early reviews say the battery life has improved. I really like the Pixel's call features (call screening, etc.)
Why did you trade in your s22u
