I agree that I wish it was something more. I just find myself in a situation right now where it's often unusable and if it's a marginal improvement (or maybe the modem in mine is just particularly bad) I'm willing to take that risk.
Yeah it's weird. Many people are adamant that they have no issues with reception on the 6 but at launch my wife and I picked up a pro and a regular and both had issues. I lived with mine for 5 months or so but eventually picked up an S22 Ultra.
This modem is a newer model from Samsung so perhaps it's slightly better but the Verge review mentioned they had issues with calls.

BB's deals are definitely better if you have a PIxel 6.

I'm trading in a PIxel 6 to Best Buy (currently giving $480 value), and they give a $100 gift card for Pixel 7. I think Pixel 7 Pro is $200 gift card.

In the end, it's $159 after tax etc to upgrade from P6 to P7, and they give me a $100 gift card.

Any trade-in promos yet that'll accept a device with slightly cracked screen?

If I am still on a P6 TMO plan where I pay 1/2 for the phone out of pocket thru my plan & they credit me 1/2 with 12 months left to go - essentially still locked on TMO - can I trade the P6 in since I am still paying monthly & they are still crediting me.

Just the phone will leave their system not the payer.
I think the Google T&C says it can't but just checking here.

Thank you very much. I will chat with them and try to confirm. I will report back. Smilie
I have been on chat with them since my last message with you.

Confused because she is telling me that I can just pay the discounted amount, about $175 and my phone will be unlocked and clear. However, she is still talking about bill credits and things that confuse everything. I can't get clarity.

I think I need to talk on the phone. The chat isn't clear and she can't clarify it well enough over the chat. Very frustrating.

Not sure of the P6 in specific, but if you have a phone on EIP with TMO, you can volunteer to pay off the whole tab now out of your own pocket, and they will continue to credit you monthly, but it will be at the account level vs on the line level. This way, you dont technically lose $ by the end of the term.

You can chat with T Force to confirm this, but I did this with an Iphone SE2 and a Pixel 4a5g, because I needed them to be unlocked ASAP.

I have a Pixel 3 XL, Google giving me $275 for trade is or Verizon giving $700 but in 36 months credit line aka $19.44 a month toward credit line... I also have a Pixel 6 Pro that I'm still paying 😂 dilemma! I'm thinking keep the Pixel 6 Pro (use it with my drone) and take the Verizon deal ... Idk how much does BB would give me for the Pixel 3 XL.

Worse deal for pixel owners. Our prices didn't change and no gift card on top of it. I'll wait till another promo comes along in a month

I'm so tempted to do this, but I don't trust Google's tech very much. Twice I had to call 911 on my Pixel 6 Pro only to have the calls fail due to technical problems with the phone

My experience with Google Trade in was horrible. After sending in my Samsung S21 in and awaiting for my trade in credit, I received a ridiculous email saying that Google only received an empty box so no trade-in credit is given. Apparently, either some low life in USPS stole my phone or some low life at the processing depot swiped my phone.
I requested an investigation, waited a week, and got the same response that the box received was empty and no trade-in credit could be issued. I requested additional proof if the processing center has a video record for when the "empty" box was opened. Of course NOT.
Just want to give you guys a heads up to be sure to video tape packing of your phone and maybe use a big box to house your return trade-in phone, add extra security tape.
Of course, I am NEVER buying another Google phone.

What happens if you return the pixel 7? Do you get to keep the refund on CC for the phone you traded in?

Am I missing something here? EEK!

iPhone 13 Pro getting shafted vs 13 Pro Max. $300 difference makes no sense.

starcaptor's understanding is the same as mine, and I have done it many, many times on my 10-year-old grandfathered Select Choice T-Mobile account without issues. I definitely would chat with them to confirm and save the chat log, just to be safe.

I hope this helps,
