This is true. I have the Chelsea boots and I'm wearing them now. I ended up swapping the insole to a thinner one and using a long plastic shoehorn. You just have to be somewhere where you won't take them off or you wont get them on again lol.

Edit. I got these for $85 in May.

Chelsea boot came to $65.

Really hope they fit. Really like the look of the tan ones. (I already own Thursday Chelsea boot in brown)

Thursday's seems to have a lot of fanboy followers that focus on price and think they are getting a $400 boot for $200 when in fact they are getting a $200 boot for $200. I'm not sure these wolverines are worth $200 but I think they are worth more than the $80 that they are on this deal.

The Chelsea's are impossible to get into because of the low arch opening.

If you want a better quality boot and customer service I highly recommend Thursday Boots. They have a much slimmer and modern distinct look that IMO look much better. Aesthetics is all up to the individual though and if spending $100 more is worth it. If you are a boot enthusiast it should be worth it.
I have a pair of Thursday's I bought a few years ago, they are a great looking boot, that said they could be more comfortable, also the color wears off fast so I have to polish them constantly

I have a pair of thursdays the quality is comparable to the wolverines but the comfort is sub optimal. The wolverines are a bit better for a long day on your feet. Both are mid range as far as quality goes but since these are on sale I grabbed 2 pairs because it's a steal. There's a good review for anyone interested here:

I own Thursday's and Wolverine and truth be told I prefer the Thursday. Yeah it may not be a $400 boot but the Wolverine it's certainly not a $400 boot either (over priced). Thursdays have held up better and are more comfortable in my case at least.

However Wolverine's for this price, it is definitely a deal if you can find your size. Thanks OP!!!

Nice repped! The stacked codes is slick! Went with a pair of the black cap toe this time. Got too many brown boots and the black has a bit of a combat boot look.

How are these cap toes in terms of quality? What brands are better than these? Sounds like Thursday isn't much better.

okay, you got me! At $65, it's too good of a SD to pass up for full grain leather boots with goodyear welt construction.

Hope these feel and fit better than my disappointing 1000-mile montague chelsea boots by them.

Don't try the ID.me for those that serve. It took away the discount and set the price at $169 and invalidated the coupon codes. NOT a good deal that route.
