As a professional mechanic and in the automotive business for over 20 years, here is what I can offer:
1) In the "old days" torque to a spec on hefty steel wheels was not a consideration. it was assumed a mechanic knew what tight enough was.
2) As manufacturers moved to lighter weight steel and alloy wheels, tightening to a specific torque became more important to avoid distorting the wheel from uneven tightening and to insure the fasteners were actually tight. It also prevents gorillas from tightening them so tight they will never come off if there is a roadside flat.
3) Equally important as even torque on all wheel fasteners is to tight the nuts or bolts in a cross hatch pattern, not circular, gradually increasing the torque.

Ignore the sniping comments. You are not putting together connecting rod caps, main bearing caps, head bolts or other highly torque sensitive items. I know many mechanics whose arms are so familiar with the common models they work on that they can feel the torque to within 5 foot pounds, which is close enough for wheels.

Check your work. Tighten your wheels without, then go back and check them with the torque wrench. That will tell you if you are lucky to be alive or not.

Yeah it's dumb cause a simple CCC search shows it's never been above $53. Typically hovering around $50.

Don't know what to buy for my RAM truck. I have the 1/2" Milwaukee wrench. Will this work for taking out and tightening my tires?

They will fit your wrench, but the tires may be a different story. I'd recommend taking a socket from your non-impact set and seeing if it will fit the lugnut. It's possible they are metric. I'd also recommend using a torque wrench for reinstalling (check the specs for the right torque, but 90-100 is usually about right) as you don't want to be cussing on the side of the road if you need to put on the spare...

I bought this for the same price ($29) on October 4. This is a good price, but not a new or sale deal.

Don't buy this one.
I know it's a different drive size but this kit posted yesterday has 42 impact sockets for $50, which is a fair price. https://slickdeals.net/f/16097986-42-piece-3-8-sunex-tools-drive-master-impact-socket-set-50-58-prime-members-only?src=SiteSearch
$30 for 8 sockets is not a deal.

That deal expired plus I believe it doesn't have the 22mm needed for a truck based on my findings. You can quote me wrong.

So you DO know what you need? My point was $3.75 per socket is not a deal, IMO.
This kit is cheaper than it was. It first got posted at $40 and then $38 in July . $35 in sept. Now $30. $25-ish for Black Friday would be fair.

If you have a chase rewards account linked, you may also see a promotion for 50% off, savings up to $15 if you used points... I used points and got it for $15 total... I was on the fence, but at that price it's a steal.

Ah, looks like it might be Chase Ultimate Rewards only, I don't have the Amazon one, so I don't know if it is one... Try checking here: amazon.com/chaseoffer

Never have I ever torqued my lug nuts to spec. I'm 43 and I've been changing tires since I was 14 and never have I ever used a torque wrench on my lug nuts. Should I be dead?
Probably best to leave that task for someone else.. Your inability to conclude an understanding for safety procedures is a bit frightening. Anyone who lacks simple common sense is a great risk for themselves and anyone around them. Next time you decide on picking up a tool, set it back down, let someone else with experience do it for you. You are welcome.
