I would only ever expect a screen protector to negate scratches, not absorb impact.

Isn't that the point? Better the protector than the actual glass on the phone.

I've used these before and it's pretty easy to apply.

The iPhone 11 ones crack often but the screen has been saved and looks like new when replaced. The applicator makes it easy as pie installing, straight every time. I'll probably get one or two thanks op.

I got it last year when when iPhone 13 pro was new since then I dropped it few times just without damaging a screen at all. Last week I dropped my iphone on a road while removing from car charger and it shattered the screen guard and protected my screen. There was no scratch or scuff at all. I would say these are great if you install it right. $5 is good price I got it for $7 last year. Imo all non branded scratch guards are same I bought another one couple days ago for $6 on a prime day. This is a good price.

Yikes. Um yeah that is pretty bad then. I've had many of these crack from drops but they've always protected the actual phone screen.

These are much better than previous versions where you have to line it up and risk dusk getting underneath. The full screen dust sticker followed by a quick application makes for first time right applications. In the past I'd have to go through almost the full batch of the "3x" to get one right and/or dust free.

Been using this for the past month, no drops/falls so far, has held up without any issues (no different to any other protector).

I will say, in the many years of buying protectors, this was hands down the easiest applicator I've ever tried. Quick and easy.
