The deal is dead but can anyone with glasses chime in if this accommodates you well or not? $200 isn't too bad but if it goes to $150 might be tempted to purchase. I do wear glasses but been weary of how it is …..

I have had this for several years and wear glasses. It's doable... not the best and u have to be gentle sliding it in against your face. It also depends on the rim size of your glasses. I have a spare pair I purchased from one of the cheapo online places that I use for situations where I have to wear something over my glasses. They were like $25 after coupons. The glasses are the least of the issues though. Mainly it's just the overall blurriness. Some games are worse than others but it's hard to get it adjusted right so at least the center view is somewhat clear. Hoping the V2 is better with that...

Just going to point out that this headset will be EOL pretty soon. Not forward compatible with the PS5 and devs will switch en masse to PSVR2 next year.

Still has a really decent library but important caveats to note.

Edit: I used 'forward compatible' poorly. I meant it wouldn't be able to play VR games made to target PSVR2. Fundamentally different tracking tech and feature set, so cross-gen games are unlikely.

Damn this is tempting. I've been watching for used PSVR for a few weeks now and the pricing I'm seeing is around $120-140. Getting this new for $200- 5% target red rewards seems nice. Gotta see what else can sweeten it to make me do it

Good deal but those controllers are brutal. I own 3 different VR headsets and once you are in the flow ofnthe game you tend to forget the resolution differences. The controllers are just so outdated and make the experience bad compared to other headsets. Id pay 100 buks more for better controllers. If you can get the game Farpoint with the vr aim, that is a really good experience.
