Chase ultimate rewards points are worth 50% more on apple products with sapphire reserve and 25% more on apple products with sapphire preferred or ink business preferred.

I realize many would rather use them for travel, but we don't travel and pay yourself back has been lousy.

Unfortunately, it's kind of a fake value, as you can get most apple products at discounts nowadays. So your value is still less than the 1.5 or 1.25 than they make you believe it is.
some more example
for my upcoming trip to Japan in Jun
Transfer 10K to AVIOS for redeem of 2 domestic Japan ticket worth $200 USD
1 point to 2 cents

Transfer 47K to Virgin Atlantic (with chase 30% transfer bonus) for a FIRST CLASS ticket from HND-JFK worth $5000 USD
1 point to 10.6 cents
Setting aside you being aggressive for no reason.. I think any nay-sayers on this deal are focused on the opportunity cost. If you value your points at 1 cent per point, then I agree that AirPods for about 20k points is fantastic. But it's relatively easy to get $300 of value out of 20k Chase UR points by transferring to an airline. And sometimes even higher than that by transferring to hotel/airline for point redemption towards a high-end flight or hotel stay. So 20k Chase UR points, with either a Sapphire Preferred or Reserve card, are worth somewhere between $300 and $700. So the opportunity cost is you getting AirPods for 20k points.. vs a flight or hotel stay that would cost you 2-3x the cost of the AirPods.

I have the 50 percent bonus with my Chase Sapphire Preferred card, and was happy to take advantage of this offer last time to get a 27" iMac. I was looking this time at the iPad Pro, but there's sort of a "buyer beware" caveat here. The iMac Pro 11" currently listed in the
Apple Store for $799 (base) has the latest M2 chip, whereas the iMac Pro 11" available for the same price via the Chase portal has the older M1 chip. Same with the iMac Pro 12.9". If the Chase product was identical to the current Apple Store product I'd pull the trigger, but not if I'm getting a 2021 model with an M1 chip. I'm not sure why the latest iPad Pros aren't available via the Chase portal, or if the situation is similar with other products listed there.

So normally Apple will come with 1 year standard warranty. So Chase will offer 2 more years as AppleCare+?
Quote from Chase :
Extends the time period of the U.S. manufacturer's warranty by one additional year, on eligible warranties of 3 years or less when item is purchased with an eligible Chase card or with rewards earned on an eligible Chase card

So if the Apple standard warranty is 1 year, Chase will extend that one additional year.

Amex and BoA do similar on many cards.

Only one I know off hand does more (and only on a very few cards anymore, most have lost this) is Citi which does 2 years on those very few cards... (Even better- Citi specifically states their coverage starts after all other warranties including extended ones... so if for example you bought apple care on a phone, thus giving you 2 total years of coverage from apple, Citis coverage would have you in years 3 and 4- assuming you keep phones that long... but of course you can't use this chase deal in that case)

Am I crazy or hasn't Chase Sapphire been doing a "Pay yourself back and get a 50% bonus towards your points" deal for quite some time? So you could buy the same products anywhere, then use your points to pay yourself back for the exact same deal right? As long as you bought it from a store that qualified for the pay yourself back thing, this isn't a deal is it?

I don't even see iPad Pros from last year. I could be wrong but looks like only iPad Air, Mini, and regular iPad can be purchased through Chase Rewards.

They had the Pro on there this weekend, gone today. Maybe they're swapping it out. I got in on the Walmart 11 inch pro for $599, but waiting to see if anything better comes along.

Yes but this doesn't really apply to people who aren't interested in traveling or doesn't value traveling.

Could you share the price of a current item with your Chase Sapphire Preferred?
