Disable "Mobile Services" app - it has nothing to with mobile services, instead it installs bloatware on its own.
Disable 1Weather app, Moto comes with its own weather widget.
Remove all permissions from My Account (can be removed) and Device Pulse (can't be disabled or removed), these track your usage.
Even when the phone is unlocked and you move to another service, these apps will continue to do their thing unless you disable or remove them.
It is upgradeable to android 11. I don't think it will receive android 12 upgrade since Motorola typically only gives 1 android version update.

Metro has 180 days unlock policy after activation. You don't need to pay anything after first month, no need to call . Just click "unlock" from the phone after 180 days to unlock the phone
Since being unlocked, my kids have been using it for the past 2 weeks on AT&T postpaid. Its a decent phone, but only gets 4G, Android 11, and its even slower than the 5yr old Iphone 8. And unless you're in a major city, it only gets so-so reception. And it only has ONE speaker so it sounds terrible to me. The only upsides are the 128gb, sd card, and bigger screen. Its awkwardly tall with an equally awkward fingerprint reader (this is with a protective case)
The bootloader cant be unlocked, so cant be rooted either.
Again, for $80, it's decent if you want a backup phone, but I have a feeling you'll really start to dislike it as a daily driver.

After first month, put your phone in drawer, setup a calendar reminder at 181 days of first day activation. By then, click "unlock", all would unlock
