Buy it expecting the software and remote to suck and you'll be happy. The picture quality is excellent, gaming is buttery smooth, but the software and remote are garbage.

Agreed. Interestingly I've found that it turns on about 90% faster using an old Samsung remote. The controls after power don't work correctly however

I would do this but I guess it has no warranty so seems too risky. Samsung support says they don't offer warranty support for anything not sold on Samsung.com and Best Buy doesn't list any warranty info so idk how you'd get warranty support from somewhere like that even.

Can anyone verify this deal is still going? I was seeing proper discount previously but now discount is much less. Has this deal expired or did my employee status change?

You ain't no liar. Got a QN85D yesterday and the remote is so trash it actually made my thumb hurt. Way too damn small with too few important buttons. It was working only when I pointed it directly at the tv until I figured out I had to resync it and now it works 100 times better. Can't figure out how to get it to control my Roku stick though. And Samsung should fire the person who created Tizen

You replied to the wrong deal. This one is for the eBay listing and it's still going. You must be looking for the 65 inch from Samsung. That ended last week. It's $1800 now
