I've bought these several times over the years and I've used them as inexpensive gifts, pots and pans that stay in a cabin to use over a wood stove and campfire, in the actual kitchen and i have two sets that I use in my workshop chem lab.

The non-stick are trash, the coating does not last very long. I bought one non-stick and even with light use with plastic utensils it's still broke down and started peeling in less than 6 months.

The stainless steel however is a good value in my opinion. That isn't because I think the build quality is amazing or anything, it isn't, it's fairly cheaply built and the stainless steel walls in the pots and pans are pretty thin. The reason why I think they are good value is because they are stainless steel and they hold up tremendously well compared to non-stick. Because they are thin walled you really can't use high heat for anything except boiling, but for slower cooked med. heat meals, sauces, etc they work great. Especially with acidic food like tomato sauces.

If your intentionally trying to sear or pan fry food, this works out great. If you're trying to quickly make pancakes at a higher heat, you're going to have some unevenly cooked and/or burnt pancakes.

These are inexpensive pans that have very specific cooking characteristics that need to be acknowledged when you use them, otherwise you're going to have problems. 🍳

If nothing else, you can get yourself a whole bunch of spare lids for your other pots and pans. 😅

I have this and it is good for some light cooking. I'm talking about the non stick ones. The thickness of the pans are less compared to the usual ones. Would last for some time if you avoid metal stirrers or spoons not to scratch the non stick surface.

Skip the nonstick and go with stainless. It'll last 3x as long. Buy steel wool to clean.

Was tempted for stainless steel, but the customer images after few uses threw it off.

The review pictures for both the nonstick and the stainless steel are pretty bad. Do you think these people are using the cookware normally or are they really using and abusing this stuff?

Bought this last year at this price point…kind of get what you pay for…it's good enough…use the set in a DC crash pad that I have for work trips so use very sparingly. The pots are good for boiling water and light cooking use; the pan is good if used for light use…don't buy these and expect them to last a lifetime with every day use

In for a SS set, before I start investing into all clad. Should be a good starting point to play with stainless steel different way of cooking

Steel wool?
You are doing something wrong if you need it clean.

The worst you should need is barkeepers friend [barkeepersfriend.com], if you always want the stainless steel to shine as new.
Also plastic scrubbers/sponges

40 years different grades of pans never used steel wool.
My all clad's at 28 years old look as new...with 2x-4x weekly use.

Seeing a lot of negative comments, but I think those people may be abusing these. I've had these for a year and they are all still in great shape (non-stick version). The non-stick has not peeled off on any of these. None are warped or damaged, and I cook a lot

Its pretty hilarious to read some of the reviews. For $30, what do you want? If they last a year its a good deal. I am sure with some care given to the cleaning they will last a lot longer. If you just want to throw them in the dishwasher, they will degrade faster. Probably best for secondary use as in a vacation property but still, even for primary use $30 is a steal for a set of pans
