For all the people poo-pooing the deal and being worried about using the /amex link... Are you aware that it's literally impossible to add to cart and check out items on /amex? You have to abandon the /amex pathway anyways during the purchase funnel.

Make sure you load that URL once and then go wild. I've always gotten my cash back.

Ditto for Italian wines. I usually pay about $5-9/bottle on average, and the wines are easily worth that. So, drinking quality, not keep and sell for riches. Smilie

doesnt matter the vendor that posts on your card. amex does receive level 3 card data from merchants (especially likely when they have amex offers with the company with specific exclusions). Its just a matter if Amex and the RAT team decides to enforce the terms

There's literally not even a way to purchase wine from wineinsiders.com/amex without getting funneled through a wineinsiders.com url without /amex on it. Maybe you just need to load the /amex URL once.

I did not get the email triggering this offer. Looking further into this I don't think you will be able to get this credit unless you were targeted for it by Amex and activated this offer.

I should have looked further into this before ordering but I wished OP has mentioned that you have to have been targeted this offer. I just got the Amex Platinum and new to this.
