Got this new AMEX offer. I already have more wine than I know what to do with from previous offers but the value is too good to pass up.

If you don't want to spend much more than $35, I recommend doing one of these $45 deals for 6. Better value than ordering individual bottles:
- https://wineinsiders.com/promos/AFF-MED6PK-4499-0819 [wineinsiders.com]

Best overall value is definitely the full club membership for 15 bottles, but it costs $89:
- https://wineinsiders.com/promos/WIS-QRTLY12WS [wineinsiders.com]

For all the people poo-pooing the deal and being worried about using the /amex link... Are you aware that it's literally impossible to add to cart and check out items on /amex? You have to abandon the /amex pathway anyways during the purchase funnel.

Make sure you load that URL once and then go wild. I've always gotten my cash back.

I'm not wine connoisseur by any means but I believe the consensus on all these wine clubs is that the wines are all pretty much the same - e.g. same or similar companies running the back end, and the wine is rebadged/bottled to make it look different. Note I am not saying it's bad wine (see first sentence) but that it's largely gimmick. My 2 cents.
I've been ordering from Wine Insiders for a couple years and have enjoyed nearly all of the bottles. While there may be some labels that are like what you say, I mainly order French wines (it's what I know best), and I don't think they are relabeled by anyone since they meet French labeling requirements, which are pretty specific. Ditto for Italian wines. I usually pay about $5-9/bottle on average, and the wines are easily worth that. So, drinking quality, not keep and sell for riches. Smilie

The system is quick to shoot out emails when the spending threshold is reached but I'd be wear of a clawback in this case. AE does receive higher level detail on purchases than most CC's (e.g. they can see what you bought, how much was coupon, tax, shipping, etc). I don't know that that information comes through immediately though,
Yes I'm waiting on that too see what happens, but with the discount code 6 bottles still was a good deal

doesnt matter the vendor that posts on your card. amex does receive level 3 card data from merchants (especially likely when they have amex offers with the company with specific exclusions). Its just a matter if Amex and the RAT team decides to enforce the terms

It has this in fine print -- Any purchases not made at wineinsiders.com/amex will not qualify for this offer. Excludes purchases made at wineinsiders.com.

There's literally not even a way to purchase wine from wineinsiders.com/amex without getting funneled through a wineinsiders.com url without /amex on it. Maybe you just need to load the /amex URL once.

Did you get the credit after buying one of those promos?

It says you have to purchase from "www.wineinsiders.com/amex" [wineinsiders.com] to qualify but the $45 promos are not found under that.

As I recall from the last time, I was warned I wouldn't get the credit, ignored the advice, and didn't get the credit. So, I would be very careful buying any of the promos from this site until someone confirms they got the credit.
Yeah, I got screwed over the last time as well. Hard pass here.

Did you get email from AMEX indicating offer was triggered?

I did not get the email triggering this offer. Looking further into this I don't think you will be able to get this credit unless you were targeted for it by Amex and activated this offer.

I should have looked further into this before ordering but I wished OP has mentioned that you have to have been targeted this offer. I just got the Amex Platinum and new to this.
