bought this for $109 (plus $19 shipping) via Amazon back in December.

fairly easy to put together, but as people stated in the previous thread, you should really use LockTite on the bolts to prevent them from coming loose over time.

You do not need a box spring, as this is a Foundation-style frame which includes horizontal wooden slats to support your mattress. It's rated for up to 700 pounds, but if you're on the heavier side you might want to keep the box spring on just to reduce wear on the slats - I'm ~205 and I can feel them bend a little.

The welding and the bolts came loose regularly. Went through two of them thinking it was a fluke because of how affordable it was only for the welding to break again, maybe the bolts that don't stay caused it but that's just poor design

To add on to this… I bought it on the same deal because I was ready to jump to a king but didn't want to spend a boatload on both frame and mattress, so just got something cheap with a good mattress.

The frame only recently started creaking getting in and out of bed, so I suspect I have some loose bolts as well. Locktite is a great suggestion.

The slats are definitely not great. I'm 215 and I could feel the mattress sag on the sides but have great support in the middle (where the frame runs through). I ended up adding a 3/4" plywood over the slats to give the mattress and myself better support.

Otherwise though, frame has done its job well and eventually I'll get a better frame or bedroom set.

I actually have this bed frame, purchased from Walmart, in the King size. I like the 14" height from the ground, as it's easy to vacuum under. One thing to note: if you have a tall mattress - or a mattress and a box spring - the height may cover the lowest headboard slat and then the headboard looks sort of dinky.

I originally bought this bed frame to use temporarily until I found another I liked better, but so far it's just easier to keep this one! I confirm no box spring is needed with this frame.

I have had the queen one of this for 5 years and it has survived 3 moves and I'm still using it! Recently upgraded to a king though, and I am no longer a fan of the style but if you like it, I would recommend it!

Bought this back on April for my son. Has held up just fine. I of course paid more back then. This is a great price.

I have the king size version and it's very squeaky when used recreationally… 🫣

which type of mattress are you using? I have an 8" memory foam (Zinus brand) on order, wondering if I should pick up some plywood..

I have had this frame for about three years now. Its very utilitarian and will get the job done, but because it is so lightweight, the bed moves around alot just from your regular tossing and turning. The bolts havent come out...yet.
Using it with a queen size Zinus green tea mattress
