Recently got the Sapphire Preferred on 05/21 and got the bonus. Do you think I would be able to get this card as well and get the bonus? I think I have 3/24 right now, opened chase freedom on 12/20, preferred 5/21, and Amex gold delta 5/22.
Do they waive the fee if you go in branch like the preferred?
I went to Chase bank today, they told me that currently they do not have any incentive for applying at the bank vs online for Reserve but the banker also said if I want to apply for CS Preferred, she can waive the AF and also give 70k SUB. I applied for Reserve at the bank and got approved within 2 minutes.
If Priority Pass is a main sell, then nothing beats the Venture X. You can have AUs for free and they can each get Priority Pass as well. Not to mention, two free guests per person. All for a card that pays you $5 each year to keep it open.
I don't think anyone said it was "a man sell"? It's a perk. The points, travel credits, etc. are all major parts. It's an excellent card with versatile points that more than pays for itself. Some may prefer other cards.

Dig through your emails maybe?
I plan to just call at anniversary. If they don't waive I'll cancel.
Then this 80 k is more like 70
10k per referral
What fee? The annual $550 fee?! Heck no, that's how this card makes money.

Unless one is a hermit, then it's really closer to 200-250 depending on how you look at it. Which IMO is worth it given all the other benefits.
