The one that you'll use the most. If you know you're going to buy multiple tools and you know what tools they're going to be and you don't have an urgent need for a specific tool, it may make sense to select a more expensive tool now and fill in later. For everyone else, your best bet is to select the tool you're most likely to use the most.

Which one that will be depends heavily on what you plan to do or what projects you plan to work on. Someone who has a lot of tree trimming or demolition work will want the reciprocating saw. Someone who's planning some household carpentry projects might need the circular saw. Someone who's planning on doing a lot of basic woodworking projects might do well with the jigsaw. Someone doing more advanced woodworking projects could do very well with the router. Someone who wants a really flexible tool for drywall, tile, and miscellaneous stuff could find a lot of use in the oscillating tool. A gearhead who works a lot on their car would want the impact wrench.

There's no general answer that will be "right" for all or even most people.

Bought these last year. Got the brushless router and angle grinder, sold each set of batteries for $150, so $50 (and time and gas selling the batteries) for the tools. I'll still take it. Don't need anything else, I either have it or something good enough not to need this again, unless I want to split it up.

Looking to get first set of tools will buy dewalt driver and drill over Black Friday. Should I get the batteries with the circular saw, jigsaw or router. I feel like circular saw would get most use

circular saw would def be useful if it's your first set, but note the circular saw is only $140 as a standalone tool so you're leaving $60 or more on the table if you were to get the jigsaw ($199 standalone) or router ($219). I am in similar boat but have drill, driver and circ saw already so I got the jigsaw bc I have no use for a router

Still a good deal as of 7:23 p.m. eastern time for me here in Michigan. Look for a green banner just below the $199 battery price that says free gift. Once you touch that it will take you to the tools available at the store you're shopping. You may have to click a button at the bottom that says more to see all of the choices. I noticed that I had different choices between the two closest Lowe's to where I live but neither one of them show the jigsaw some speak of up in the comments here.

Thanks I was thinking that as the jigsaw would def be better than router. Plus my pops has a really good wired circular saw I can borrow any time. Thanks for the feedback
