Thanks for the post. I checked four zip codes for the different places I've lived(different states) and only one store had it in stock and was $4.97. Unfortunately two states away

the last time i saw a Lowes deal, says that there were no stock on my store. As it is on my way home, I did a little detour, there were 5 units on the store.

Mine had them in a display box near the plumbing tools. Marked special buy for 19.xx The app wouldn't give me a price when scanning, but when scanned at the register, they rang up $4.97
Edit to add: Brickseek did show them at 4.97 for my location.

If you set the store as your shopping store, you can scan the barcode to get the in-store price.

Brick-seek displayed my local store has three units in stock. When I went in the store, there were eight units available.

Do these consistently work for anyone? I gave up on these types of cutters because 50% of the time the pvc pipe shatters half way through.

I've used that style before.... Not the kobalt ones. They seemed to work fine but I've had shatters if the blade is not sharp or the PVC is cold. But I'm also in AZ and not perhaps as cold as some other places.
