Microcenter dropped the prices of the Raptor Lake 13th Gen 13600K, 13700K, and 13900K this morning when their stores opened. These prices currently beat Newegg, B&H, Best Buy, and Amazon.
i5 13600K = $299
i7 13700K = $399
i9 13900K = $569
These prices are for in-store only. I picked up a 13700K this morning and was told they have a pretty healthy stock of all three.

First i bought a 3700x. Then I sold that and got a 5900x. Then i sold that, ddr4 RAM, and mobo and bought a 12700k and ddr5 RAM and intel mobo.
So now I am deciding if I should do it yet again. lol. Either for 13700k or 7700x. If 13700k, i would have to sell my mobo again too because it's the asus itx one that doesn't have bios flashback so I'd not be able to use it with 13700k.
Most likely I should just keep what I have But I hate the idea of building without the latest tech.
I also kept buying gpus, changing mind, getting diff ones. Now I have a 12g 3080 and am wishing I had just gotten a 3070 for less noise and heat.

EDIT: The 11.02 BIOS update for that board shows 13th gen support, but their CPU list hasn't been updated. So it should work.
Well that's a strategy I have not heard of before.
How old or what model is your original PC?
