I have this light and it's not bad, but I would definitely not pay more than the 15 I paid from a home depot deal last month. I understand wanting to use the same batteries if you already have a few but there are better rechargeable ones out there that are probably much better.

At $20/pair (HD clearance price) these were a good buy for power outages and such. At $20/ea, they're way overpriced.

I was thinking more so if the power went out. A "area" light. Not even good for that?

It works... I use it camping. But also got it with a fan and speaker for $44 on sale a couple months ago

It would make a poor flashlight, it's more of a lantern. It also runs for several days on One battery.

These are fantastic when camping if you have a bunch of batteries. Overpriced at 22 each, but at 10 I'd pick up a few more.

list price is a joke. I got a 2 pack at HD clearance earlier this year for 15 bucks or so, which is okay IMO. Lights up a dark room well enough, used it on a few occasions when the power when out, but that's pretty much it. It certainly not bright or focused enough to replace a flashlight. More of a room light use case.

I paid $30 for a pair.

If you really need something like this, $22 isn't bad.

If you might need it, $10 is the price you're looking for.

I got the 45 dollar deal that included the speaker (meh) and the fan. This seems overpriced by itself. However it is a good room lantern. I used this while changing out all of the power outlets in my dark painted media room.
