The only reason I would say would be the battery life since on XS they're already getting old if it wasn't replaced previously, as far as performance it will all depends on what you use the phone for.

Iphone 14 is terrible. Last years processor with a tiny camera aperture improvement. Get a 13, 13 Pro, or 14 Pro.

At costco store. Even though costco checks for any damages full $360 is not guaranteed. You are at mercy at the person verifying your phone after you send in. Most people doesn't have any issues though. Make sure don't have any water damage.

Also, if you have iPhone 8,8+ to trade in you get $200 back which is the same at tmo. But costco deal is better with same value for tradein and discounted mrp.
