This is how much this stuff cost before pandemic inflation. I get it prices go up, but for electronics (especially ones that are 2-3 years old), they should go down. You're better off waiting for a Sonos refurb deal (or the id.me deals ymmv) unless you want the Costco warranty.
Hope they accidentally stack the discounts on the ARC. Still loving my Beam though.
Edit: for clarity, I'm referencing a PM on the Beam 3 years ago where they applied a discount for the Beam and one intended for the Bar on the Beam making it 180.
For anyone wondering if this is worth it.... I made a pandemic purchase of the Arc, the full size subwoofer and two "Sonos One" speakers to set up surround sound for my tv.... Watching Maverick and hearing the planes go side to side AND from the floor up to the ceiling when he punches through the pair of them to start the training sequence is ... exceptional.

I was waiting for a good deal for this. From a previous Samsung thread. I read that Sonos owners were giving bad reviews after an update, and it hasnt been fixed fir a year now. Any input on this?

Not sure what that's about. There was a software bug that was limiting some of the bass output of the sub, but that was fixed in the last update. I have most of the speakers, and I rarely have any issues.
So if I buy the beam and need it wall mounted, I have to wait to submit the voucher and wait for the mount to arrive? Strange. Any idea how long that process takes?
Re price diff adjustment: am I reading this right such that if I buy online today, I can request a price adj 30 days from now?
"For members other than resellers, only purchases made within 30 days prior to a change in price, and within applicable promotional item limits, are eligible for a price adjustment. "

Could you please elaborate on the Sonos id.me deals? I typically only see like 15% off of full price on there. They never seem to stack with any discounts or sales either. TIA
I'm not very knowledgeable about soundbars so I've been using rtings.com as a reference point. In there 'best soundbars of 2022' article they list the Beam as the best small soundbar. They don't have any other Sonos product on that list. So I have to ask if a Sonos setup (say the Arc + Sonos One pack + min sub for at least 1.4 k) is worth it over a Samsung 990b (recent sale had it at 1.2k) or even a 930b setup?

Forget the Arc even if you have the money. The beam 2 and a pair of Sonos One are still cheaper than the Arc. Then just ask a Sub mini later. Even Peter Pee, the Sonos guy from youtube, said that the Arc may be about 10% better than the Beam 2 now that both supports Atmos, but not double the performance as its price suggests.
If you have a larger space, the arc has more speakers, more power, and a much wider soundstage than the beam 2.
The Beam 2 honestly still does well in a larger space. I had the Beam 2 in a large open concept living room (with surrounds and sub), and it did well. I replaced it with the arc, and moved the Beam 2 to the master bedroom. The Beam 2 is awesome in that more enclosed medium sized space. I'm really happy with both the beam 2 and the arc.

Most of the big brand sound bar manufacturers put out a new line every year. Sonos introduces a soundbar, and then continuously add features and updates for at least five years. This is one reason they hold their value in the used market. You don't need to buy a new model yearly, and can add, mix, and match all the speakers around your house. I've recently sold a few of my seven year old Sonos Play:1 speakers on eBay for what I paid for them new. The refurb deals are good, but not a 100% that the speaker you want will be available. These prices are better than the 15% deals you could get though most of the discount programs out there because you can't generally stack promos. I do know that Sonos will be doing a holiday sale this year, but I don't know that prices would be lower than these Costco prices.

Sonos will get it sorted out & I wouldn't let this hold you back from an overall great system
