i think same applies for NY.
in other states, they would send an engineer to customer's address to verify and check and support.
This sounds like the burn-in warranty is almost pointless in CA/NY then if customer bears shipping cost.
Does anyone have more info on this or any past experiences?

November 25 (Black Friday)...?
I get that most of the time Black Friday deals are either lower end products or SKUs made cheaply for Black Friday, but at this point you are betting AGAINST the current trend in regular price drops not to expect a $1597 + $150 GC or similar promotion.
At a certain point, waiting for a 65" C2 to get even cheaper may be worth it, but you have to ask yourself, would you say you got $100 worth of value in a single month using the TV?
I'd be upgrading my 65b7 that has had burn-in twice. First time the panel was replaced under warranty. The second time it is out of warranty and we are just living with it for now.

I will gladly take a refund. I haven't read through the warranty details- does the warranty cover burn in? Has any one dealt with this warranty company?

I'm basically in your exact same boat. Got caught in a news obsession at the start of the pandemic and have the slightest burn in on my B7 at the bottom of the screen. Really need the 77 for the movie watching space.
I thought the Costco warranty covered burn in?

it does cover. personally, i have not dealt with it (thankfully)

The Costco website doesn't mention burn-in directly, you would have to hope All State considers burn in a manufacture defect, and not wear and tear (which I'm not betting on).
