I'd rather pay the extra $100 to avoid having to ship a TV back if there is a problem.

My own amateur eye test@ Costco of a C2 vs C3 side by side was: visually there wasn't any real noticable difference.

Same from the reviews out there even with the brightness bump - not too much to have to wait for.
