Not any slower at all if it is a Logitech lightspeed wireless or gpro.
Realistically how much slower would wireless be?
<4 ms. Considering top pros use wireless mice, it's safe to assume just about everyone else should be fine when it comes to latency. Weight and feel are much more important. 4 ms delay (or even 40 or 400 ms for that matter) is nothing if you can't put your crosshair on the target.

Anyone gamer will not want a wireless mouse as it takes more time for the computer to recieve the input verse a directly connected mouse. Some people need there to be no lag in input, even if it is mere milliseconds

Oh, you don't mind slower mouse responses?
Nah, my CAD drawing is pretty patient.

Seriously though, these mice are fantastic for productivity. My buddy uses the heck out of his G600 for video editing and production and is the one that turned me on to these mice for non-gaming. Granted I don't utilize mine as well as he does, but it's great to have a couple dozen macros or keys on the mouse so I don't have to do that mouse to keyboard to mouse search as often.

The power of having a 12 button keyboard under your right thumb is unbeatable.

Razer Naga Pro is what i use, can find it on sale once in awhile. I used g600 for a long time and made the switch mostly because the naga pro is wireless and i've been happy with it.
