I bought this phone at best buy about a month back. I got it for $10 because they gave me a good price for my s20 fe.

Overall I have not had any issues. I think it is a great phone and it takes awesome pictures. My only issue was it did get really warm but I don't notice it anymore after I got a case for it.
Thanks for sharing your experience. Im in for one.

Avoid this phone like a plague. While the phone is great while it works and so is the camera, I constantly have issues with dropped calls and incoming calls going straight to voice mail … I didn't believe the reviews about bad reception and still bought it and now I am outside of the return window
Did you turn the call screening option? Was having the same issue until I turned it off.

It's really not that bad as long as you remember to cycle airplane mode every time you leave a building or switch cell phone towers. 5G speeds are roughly comparable to 4G when you use data immediately after cycling the airplane mode. It's a non-issue because the phone works well when connected to WiFi. You can store up to 4 fingerprints and will likely need to store the same finger multiple times in order to improve accuracy. You should be able to get that to work reliably 50% of the time. A second phone is necessary to use GPS to avoid any accidents. Other than these minor issues, it's a great phone!

I have this phone it's alright , some apps are buggy but overall it's an alright phone ,battery lasts most of the day with moderate use . My note 20 has way better battery but had bad signal problems . Only reason I switched and stayed with this phone.

This issue doesn't even have to do with me moving from one area to another. My wife has the same phone and she's home most of the time and many times I've called her it's gone straight to the voicemail. We both have mint and get 5G in the status bar. This issue persisted at my parents house too who live in a much better coverage area in a different state. I wish a software update would fix this issue because this really is a great phone otherwise

So basically, other than that Mrs. Kennedy how did you enjoy your trip to Dallas?

And by the way, phone calls going straight to the voicemail is not a minor issue. My daughter fell sick in school the other day and nurse's call kept going straight to the voicemail. She had to call my work to get a hold of me.

Yes, that is exactly what wifi calling is. Lmao 🤣😂 are you seriously claiming that ?

From ur own link:
"Wi-Fi calling will work similarly to other Wi-Fi enabled voice over IP (VoIP) applications -- such as Skype or WhatsApp -- albeit with slight differences."

They aren't exactly the same thing. It is possible that each carrier has wi-fi calling set up differently and it might be the case that you do need some sort of cellular signal to do a handshake.

I think the camera is pretty medicore
Photos are way over-sharpened and video looks thin
I think people probably dont put their phone images on a half decent desktop display because they don't look good there
Lots of things look good on a phone screen

Got this at launch and have 0 issues since the fingerprint reader was tweaked in an update. Great device for those that do not need the latest and greatest tech.
