I have the 6a on Red Pocket CDMAV, no issues. I bought it off Google store with a s10e trade-in.

Live in an area with spotty coverage in places and this phone works fine with a similar signal to other pixel phones and iphones with a vzw mvno.

I've had -1000 calls dropped or calls going straight to voicemail. Only downside of this phone for me is the overheating issue when using intensive apps. But ya, I wouldn't buy this phone for more than $100-150 ish.

I have the Pixel 6. Same issues with bad signal. Pixel 7 did not fix this issue. Already it's getting bad reviews about the same thing. I think these phones just don't work well with certain carriers, because some people seemingly have no issues, while lots of other people do.

I have one - a Verizon version. No issues with dropped calls. No issues at all in fact. Except that I dropped it and got a nice crack along the whole screen. The phone has had no issues at all and replaced my pixel 2xl. Dropped calls could be a carrier problem?

I thought about upgrading from the 6 to the 7 for the new modem, but I have already seen similar bad reviews about the 7.

I'm saying that the 5G issues in the Pixel 6 appear to be fixed in the Pixel 7. But neither phone has a slow and laggy processor.

That's interesting. I haven't seen any reviews of the Pixel 7 saying that it still suffers from the same connectivity issues as the 6. In fact the opposite.

I have seen a lot of people saying this. I've experienced as well with the same phones pixels and LG phones. Girlfriend would have the same phone as me but would experience this problem sitting next to me while mine didn't. From what I have experienced and keep seeing, this appears to be a T-Mobile or T-mobile MVNO issue. Same exact phone switched to non T-Mobile network works perfectly. So its not the phone, it is T-Mobile

If you have a friend or someone with a non T-mobile phone, ask to borrow the sim and test it out. You'll probably see switching away from T-Mobile fixed the issue. I switched phone/sims with my girlfriend and the phone that worked perfectly no longer did and the phone that had problems now worked perfectly. It proved it was the SIM/Carrier/T-Mobile. We ordered her a new sim from the carrier thinking that would fix it, nope still same problem. Ultimately switched her out of Mint and to AT&T / Cricket wireless, same phone now works perfectly 100%

I would skip the 6a and go straight to the 7 or 7 pro. I had this phone since launch and have been disappointed with it. Also with the trade in deals for the 7 and 7 pro it's a no brainer.

I agree. On the 6a I disliked having to switch to airplane mode when I couldn't get data. Where as my 3a xl, 3 xl, and 4a 5g had no connection issues. With the 7 pro the finger print scanner and modem has been improved.

Bought this on a recent trade-in deal and really love it. No issues with fingerprint sensor or dropped calls. About my only complaint is that I think the external speaker volume is weak. Maybe I got a dud in that regard, but I'm not returning it. Battery life is terrific and I love everything else about it.
